What you can expect from me
No two therapy journeys are alike. Some people seek support for specific challenges, while others search for a deeper self-understanding, or need to process difficult life experiences (past and/or present). You are unique and so is your counselling journey. I honor your uniqueness by tailoring my counselling approach to your needs.
My counselling is informed by neuroscience, polyvagal theory, mindfulness and strengths-based practices. I integrate different modalities, including EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Internal Family Systems.
No matter what you are seeking, a strong therapeutic relationship is at the heart of your healing process. With safety and connection, you can feel comfortable sharing anything that might be on your mind. I am committed to showing up with authenticity and curiosity. I strive to hold a warm, encouraging space for you to freely express yourself and to lean into distress and discomfort. At times, I will offer gentle guidance in the form of reflections, tools and exercises to support you in your therapeutic journey.
Ultimately, you know yourself best. This is your life. I will meet you where you are at. You set the pace for our work together and I will be alongside you to help you discover the path forward.
